2face Idibia-I don’t want to marry.I am angry
Skigba18 News Update!!! on 10/11/2011 at 9:23am (UTC)
“As we go through life,we all suffer betrayals.Even Jesus was betrayed by one of his disciples Judas Iscariot.I have been betrayed but I won’t want to comment about it.

It’s a path so painful that I don’t even want to go there.Just like betrayals,I have also suffered heartbreak on account of a woman.

Again,it’s better to let sleeping dogs lie.Let me just say that love is a strong force which can conquer anybody, even if you are Tuface. It happened to me long ago.

I have loved and have been loved. When it comes to love,I am as Innocent as my name Innocent Idibia.I have never come across a virgin all my life. The only person I have disvirgined is me.Myself.The fact that I have not come across a virgin does not mean there are no virgins. What I am saying is that I have never jammed a virgin.I don’t know what I will do the day I come across a virgin. Will I marry her?

The truth is marriage is not in my plans.I will never marry.Let me put it that bluntly.I don’t want to marry.I am angry.”

Nollywood actress,Chika Ike who recently ended her marriage is alleged to be quite close to our senate president.
Skigba18 News Update!!! on 10/11/2011 at 9:18am (UTC)
According to, although a love affair could not be established, Chika Ike and Senator David Mark have been close even before her marriage ended.

Anyways, sources close to the actress revealed that the senate president recently bought her a range Rover sport worth N15 million.

The actress also recently opened a new mega fashion accessory boutique which has also been linked to the support from the third citizen of the country.
The actress and business woman says it’s not true.
She tells Encomium magazine
Normally, I wouldn’t react to stories about myself in public, I have my reasons, but I would talk about this briefly. I know David Mark, he is the senate president. But personally, I do not know David Mark and I can say this anywhere, anytime. Why I am actually reacting to this tale is for two reasons. It’s a delicate story and second, I wouldn’t want my success, my hard work, and my struggle to be attached to someone I don’t know. I have never had anything to do with Senator David Mark. People just wake up and make up stories. The range rover I drive is my hard work, my struggle and my sweat.

Boko Haram Confusion Abruptly Halts Semester Exams At U.I.
Skigba on 09/15/2011 at 8:54am (UTC)
Ibadan — Alleged planned invasion of Boko Haram fundamentalists into the University of Ibadan on Wednesday heightened tension among students of the premier University as officials of the institution's Students Union Government invaded examination halls thus disrupting the conduct of the on-going second semester examinations.

Unconfirmed reports however said that the University authorities might have yielded to the demands of the protesting students by suspending the on-going examination till September.19.

In a commando-like manner, at about 8.30 a.m., the University's studuents union President, Mr. Tokunbo Salako led other student leaders sympatethic to their plight to the examination halls demanding the stoppage of the on-going second semester exams being conducted under fear of Boko-Haram bombing threat.

The students Union government had carried their sensitisation rallies around halls of residence the previous night, informing the student population of the failure of the school authority to brief the student about the Boko-haram threat and what is being done to protect them.

Aside that the student also lamented that security had become threatened on campus following total black-out in the institution just as they further complained about lack of water supply and light while examination was on-going.

Virtually all the faculties were stormed by the protesting students, to stop the conduct of the examination.

Confusion however ensued as some of the students who had reported for their examination were stunned by the protest. They were also apprehensive that the impending warning strike by the ASUU could catch up with the examination, thus affecting their possible gruduation. In effect, the protesting students met with stiff resistance at some faculties.

Specifically, at the faculty of Arts, the protesters resorted to tearing some examination papers and scripts to compel the faculty management to dance to their tunes.

One of the protesting students leader declared: "How on earth are we expected to perform well when there is no light and water to read for the exam? Infact the school authorities have kept us in the dark about this story of Boko-Haram targeting the school. We only get to know about it in the newspapers and the school has not deemed it fit to inform us either through memo or inviting the student leaders. That is too bad. We all know that terrorists attack where there is a large convergence which is more likely during this examination period. We need more information from the authorities. We need light to move at night and we need water."

Oyo state chapter of the Joint Campus Committee (JCC) of the National Association of Nigerian Students (NANS) had earlier on Wednesday in Ibadan accused the Federal Government of not taking the threat by members of Boko Haram to detonate bomb at the University of Ibadan seriously.

Chairman of the NANS' JCC in Oyo state, Tunde Dunmoye, made this accusation while speaking with journalists shortly after a peaceful protest staged by students of the University of Ibadan to ask the school authority to suspend the on-going second semester examinations.

Dunmoye noted that subjecting vehicles going in and out of the institution to thorough check up was not enough to prevent members of Boko Haram from not detonating bomb within the premises of the nation's premier university.

While expressing fears that members of the Boko Haram might had planted bomb within the premises of the institution before making the threat, the Oyo NANS Chairman urged the Federal Government to send bomb detectors to scrutinize all the nooks and crannies of the premier university to ascertain in order to guard against any loss of live.

Al-Qaeda leader Osama Bin Laden dead - Barack Obama
Skigba_YunG on 05/13/2011 at 12:18pm (UTC)
Al-Qaeda leader Osama Bin Laden has been killed by US forces in Pakistan, President Barack Obama has said.

Bin Laden was killed in a ground operation outside Islamabad based on US intelligence, the first lead for which emerged last August.

Mr Obama said after "a firefight", US forces took possession of his body.

Bin Laden was accused of being behind a number of atrocities, including the attacks on New York and Washington on 11 September 2001.

He was top of the US' "most wanted" list.

Mr Obama said it was "the most significant achievement to date in our nation's effort to defeat al-Qaeda".

The US has put its embassies around the world on alert, warning Americans of the possibility of al-Qaeda reprisal attacks for Bin Laden's killing.

Crowds gathered outside the White House in Washington DC, chanting "USA, USA" after the news emerged.

A US official quoted by Associated Press news agency said Bin Laden's body had been buried at sea, although this has not been confirmed.
Compound raided

Bin Laden had approved the 9/11 attacks in which nearly 3,000 people died.

He evaded the forces of the US and its allies for almost a decade, despite a $25m bounty on his head.

Mr Obama said he had been briefed last August on a possible lead to Bin Laden's whereabouts.

"It was far from certain, and it took many months to run this thread to ground," Mr Obama said.

"I met repeatedly with my national security team as we developed more information about the possibility that we had located Bin Laden hiding within a compound deep inside of Pakistan.

"And finally, last week, I determined that we had enough intelligence to take action, and authorised an operation to get Osama Bin Laden and bring him to justice," the president said.

On Sunday a team of US forces undertook the operation in Abbottabad, 100km (62 miles) north-east of Islamabad.

After a "firefight" Bin Laden was killed and his body taken by US forces, the president said.

Mr Obama said "no Americans were harmed".

Giving more details of the operation, a senior US official said a small US team had conducted the raid in about 40 minutes.

One helicopter was lost due to "technical failure". The team destroyed it and left in its other aircraft.

Three other men were killed in the raid - one of Bin Laden's sons and two couriers - the official said, adding that one woman was also killed when she was used as "a shield" and two other women were injured.

The size and complexity of the structure in Abbottabad had "shocked" US officials.

It had 4m-6m (12ft-18ft) walls, was eight times larger than other homes in the area and was valued at "several million dollars", though it had no telephone or internet connection.

The US official said that intelligence had been tracking a "trusted courier" of Bin Laden for many years. The courier's identity was discovered four years ago, his area of operation two years ago and then, last August, his residence in Abbottabad was found, triggering the start of the mission.

Another senior US official said that no intelligence had been shared with any country, including Pakistan, ahead of the raid.

"Only a very small group of people inside our own government knew of this operation in advance," the official said.

The Abbottabad residence is just 700m (800 yards) from the Pakistan Military Academy - the country's equivalent of West Point.

The senior US official warned that the possibility of revenge attacks had now created "a heightened threat to the homeland and to US citizens and facilities abroad".

But the official added that "the loss of Bin Laden puts the group on a path of decline that will be difficult to reverse".

He said Bin Laden's probable successor, Ayman al-Zawahiri, was "far less charismatic and not as well respected within the organisation", according to reports from captured al-Qaeda operatives.
'Momentous achievement'

Afghan President Hamid Karzai said Bin Laden had "paid for his actions".

A Pakistani government statement said Bin Laden's death "illustrates the resolve of the international community, including Pakistan, to fight and eliminate terrorism".

Former US President George W Bush described the news as a "momentous achievement".

"The fight against terror goes on, but tonight America has sent an unmistakable message: No matter how long it takes, justice will be done," Mr Bush said in a statement.

BBC security correspondent Frank Gardner says that, to many in the West, Bin Laden became the embodiment of global terrorism, but to others he was a hero, a devout Muslim who fought two world superpowers in the name of jihad.

The son of a wealthy Saudi construction family, Bin Laden grew up in a privileged world. But soon after the Soviets invaded Afghanistan he joined the mujahideen there and fought alongside them with his Arab followers, a group that later formed the nucleus for al-Qaeda.

After declaring war on America in 1998, Bin Laden is widely believed to have been behind the bombings of US embassies in East Africa, the attack on the USS Cole in Yemen in 2000 and the attacks on New York and Washington.

what is love??

Money & Sex are the two things young lovers seek for. Girls cheat on males on daily basis, claiming to be their lovers, promising heaven and earth, making the male feel so much about her but all to no avail when cheat came to be the order o...f the day. Both the male & female now play games. When this happenes, who is then worthy to be trusted? 'i love you' has been a word used out of emotion, even when you don't love the person. All because of Money & Sex. They exist here on earth before our existence, and will also exist even when we are gone so why are we in a hurry for it..This has caused more harm than good. Oh money & sex!! What are you turning this century into, making no one have trust. Girls nowadays don't have one lover because of this reason, they jump from one man to another. That's why you see a woman of 31-43 above not yet married. Why? Because when they were young, men came from different walls of life but they won't stick to one until after they are satisfied, realising their mistakes, they start l0oking for a younger male. One can hardly find a woman or man who has only but one lover. Why? They want to get connected to everyone, knowing everything and testing them to0. What will it benefit a young l0ver, after all this and it caused damages and problems to him/her in the nearest future! A past0r once said that he attend to people with HIV/AIDS positive just as the Doctor attends to patients suffering fr0m malaria. (i.e they are t0o many)
Let's change and make this world a better place.

Love is nice when you fall in love but when you've a broken heart, then it seems that love is wicked but love is not...... We make mistakes by not knowing our true love..... Endangering our hearts to "LUST"

Only love can bring two
strangers to know each other
love links two people
love is not a respectar of distance
tribe, age, race or religion
people defines love with many definitions making it complicated for new begineers.

when love brings two persons
they become lovers
One says;
'You are like the silky gazelle
of the esteemed paradise
blasing reliance on me
in a blissful beam'

Oh love!!! You are wicked
when you delay
and kind when you join easily

You are bitter and honey
the emotional feeling that
cannot be hidden
which one may have
for another

The breeze of love crosses
our heart when we see
someone we love
you have gone far
mending broken hearts
and joining broken lovers

Having many friends-
having all in mind
love decides whom to choose
be wise in making decisions
life is bitter without love
life is sweet with love

People are happily sad
while others are moaning
in the painful pleasure
of the act of love
when love goes, then comes
bitter, sorrow and pain.

And sound that early-laureled head
will flock to gaze the
strengthless dead
and find unwithered on it's curs
The garland briefer than a girl's
